Golf Course cart path
Puddling was causing the turf to die off immediately adjacent to the cart path. The FR1 was used to trench a 4.5” x 4” intercept drain alongside the path and then the 4.5” x 12” rotor was used to gravel band away from the path to take water to the main drain and alleviate the puddling. The use of intercept drains is particularly beneficial on areas which are subject to surface run-off, as demonstrated in trials carried out by ForthRoots with the STRI.
A Problem We've Solved
Existing drainage failing due to drainage lines in incorrect position, leading to puddling and waterlogging on hotspots.
Solution: Use ForthRoots FR1 to dig micro-trenches of less than 1" width, backfilled with quality drainage sand to link to main drains.
